"Become a fitter and receive all kinds of express delivery for free", "time free monthly income of tens of thousands of yuan"... Recently, on some social platforms and short video platforms, there has been a wind of part-time "fitters".

However, many netizens recently reported to the "Rules of Law Daily" reporter that they fell into the scam trap of part-time "fitting staff".

According to reports, the criminals first provide the victims with some small tasks and settle the fees quickly. After gaining the trust of the victims, they arrange various tasks such as billing, and the amount involved is getting larger and larger, and they set up obstacles to withdraw cash. , making the victim deeper and deeper.

Ms. Lin from Qingdao, Shandong recalled to reporters that she received an advertisement for the registration link of "Send a Fitting Maker" pushed by a short video platform. This app was pulled into an ordering group.

"As soon as I joined the group, the customer service transferred 20 yuan of postage to me, saying that they would pay the postage, and a few days later they sent the clothes for me to shoot the 'buyer show' to upload. The task was completed smoothly, and I also got the fee. ." Ms. Lin said that because the "fitting" process was relatively long, the customer service reminded her that she could "swipe orders" to earn money during the period.

At the beginning, I received a "newcomer subscription order", which cost 2.8 yuan per order. The task was very simple, just follow the online store, comment, etc. Ms. Lin completed it easily.

In this way, within a few days, Ms. Lin earned dozens of yuan and gradually relaxed her vigilance.

Immediately afterwards, the customer service suggested that Ms. Lin had completed the assessment and could receive the "employee subscription order". Not only did the cost per order increase to 5.8 yuan, but there was also a 20% rebate on the principal.

The specific operation is: Ms. Lin first pays to place an order to take pictures of the clothes, and makes a good comment, and then the merchant transfers the principal, rebates, order fees, etc. to her.

The subscription amount is divided into 5 grades, namely 101 yuan, 505 yuan, 1001 yuan, 3003 yuan and 5005 yuan.

On the first day, Ms. Lin earned 300 yuan and the withdrawal was successful.

The next day, Ms. Lin was told by the customer service that there was no small amount order, so she chose an order of 3,003 yuan.

After that, she was pulled into a 5-person social group, and the "instructor" in the group asked everyone to work together to make a big order.

Not long after the payment of 3003 yuan, someone in the group suddenly said that they made a mistake, resulting in the failure to place the order, and the 3003 yuan paid by everyone was "frozen".

  How to defrost?

The "instructor" said that to apply for another "compound order", each person needs to pay 13,680 yuan.

Regarding this money, Ms. Lin was very anxious at the time, and with the urging of others in the group, she suddenly "disordered".

"At that time, I just wanted to get the money that I had invested in, and I would believe whatever they said." Ms. Lin recalled that after paying 13,680 yuan, there was a problem with the withdrawal, and she had to apply for a new one that required a payment of 28,000 yuan per person. 's new order.

When Ms. Lin realized that other people in the group might be trusting and that she might be deceived, she had already paid 45,000 yuan.

Ms. Lin asked customer service questions and was immediately blocked and kicked out of the group.

There are not many people who have had similar experiences with Ms. Lin, and the fraud methods they have experienced are similar.

Some victims said that they paid a membership fee of several hundred yuan before they officially became "fitters"; others were asked to pull people's heads, "pulling one person and sharing 230 yuan".

The reporter's investigation found that the victims were mainly college students and "baby mothers", aged between 20 and 40 years old, mainly from the recruitment information of product trials or clothing mailings obtained on the Internet platform.

On May 17, when the reporter searched for "fitting man" on multiple online platforms, the page jumped out an anti-fraud reminder: online job hunting must be cautious, do not trust the part-time and sideline information passed on by strangers, and do not fall into the trap of fraud .

Previously, some advertising accounts were also banned by the platform.

The reporter learned from multiple victims that the local police have filed a case for investigation on their reports.

"When I was collecting information at the police station, I met an elder sister who also worked as a part-time job online. She was deceived by more than 400,000 yuan, and most of them were loans." Ms. Lin said that this kind of "subscription order" is actually going to The other party's account remittance, as soon as the money arrives, the fraud gang will transfer it immediately, and some gangs are still overseas, so it is difficult to recover the money.

Regarding fraudulent behaviors on short video platforms, the Anti-Fraud Center of Gansu Province issued an early warning on May 6, saying that with the growing popularity of short videos, many scammers have targeted this "fat" and waited for opportunities to carry out various types of fraud.

The main scams are:

A part-time advertisement is published on the short video platform. After the victim adds the other party as a friend, the other party lures the victim to make a purchase on the virtual website on the grounds that "swiping short videos can make money".

After the victim recharged and transferred multiple times, he could not withdraw.

Through private messages on the short video platform, he gradually developed into a boyfriend and girlfriend with the victim. On the grounds that he "had a channel to help the victim make money", he tricked the victim into investing and gambling on unfamiliar websites. Withdrawal, the other party also lost contact.

The fraudster pretended to be the customer service of the short video shopping platform, informed the victim that the item he purchased was unqualified, and that a refund was required, tricking the victim into filling in his personal information and SMS verification code in an unfamiliar website, and then transferring the victim's account. funds, etc.

In this regard, the Anti-Fraud Center of Gansu Province reminds consumers not to believe in false advertisements when watching short videos, not to add unfamiliar friends, not to answer unfamiliar calls, and to withdraw from unfamiliar group chats in time.

Anyone who invites you to pay bills or invest in financial management is a liar.

The reporter found that there are still criminals who are targeting those victims of online fraud, claiming that they can recover their money by paying a certain fee.

"I posted my experience of being defrauded on the online platform, and a few days later, someone privately wrote that they could help me recover the defrauded money." Ms. Liu from Haikou, Hainan said that it didn't take long for the platform to show that the person's account was abnormal. Login has been restricted.

At present, if you search for "fitting man" on the relevant short video platform, the first search result is the anti-fraud publicity short video of the National Anti-Fraud Center, and the prompt message "Beware of Fraud Traps" will appear below the search results.

A number of deceived netizens expressed their hope that the platform can strictly review and assume regulatory responsibilities.
