Two associations, Mouvement de Palier and Zéro Déchet Lyon, will pilot this experiment for three years.

Their role: to federate traders, inhabitants, structures or associations that are already in this process.

Recently, the Audrey Hepburn and Chapeau Rouge schools have been involved in the project, as has the new generation theatre.

With the same objective: to avoid incineration or disposal of packaging as much as possible.

Fighting waste in all its forms

"The price of packaging is becoming more expensive, so it saves money to limit waste," says Camille Augey, assistant in charge of trade and crafts.

There are many ideas to encourage them to reduce litter of all kinds.

"This may, for example, connect traders who are full of delivery boxes with residents, who are looking for them to move", develops Claire Dulière of the Lyon Zero Waste association.
