Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 19th that it was confirmed that 2271 people were newly infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It has fallen below the same day of the previous week for 6 consecutive days.
The breakdown is 695 in Fukuoka City, 382 in Kitakyushu City, and 148 in Kurume City.
Meanwhile, a total of two people announced as infected on the 17th and 18th were withdrawn.
A total of 406,554 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
