"We've decided to celebrate our 50th anniversary by giving away two free tickets to anyone who types in 'done' before 6 p.m. Tuesday."

This is the message published Monday by the Facebook page “Ryanair France”.

Despite this name, which recalls that of the famous airline, this page is not official and the message is actually a scam, reports

La Voix du Nord

.

Personal information to disclose

The nearly 200,000 people who wrote “done” under this post all received the same response: “Hello.

Your voucher is being processed, you must first complete our validation process.

To do this, simply click on the blue Register button located at the top of our page.

Thank you for your participation ".

The button in question links to a page on which appears a plane of the airline company blurred.

Internet users are then invited to fill in certain personal data “to receive (their) tickets”.

Of course, this is all just a scam.

Several clues confirm this.

First, the “Ryanair France” page was only created last Saturday and it only totals 12,000 likes against five million for the official page.

Then, unlike the latter, it does not have the status of “verified page” symbolized by a small blue symbol next to the name.

Finally… Ryanair will not celebrate its 50th but its 38th birthday in November 2022.
