Due to a large-scale leak that occurred at an intake facility in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, the supply of industrial water became available in stages from the night of the 19th.

On the other hand, there is no prospect of restoration of agricultural water, and at the flower theme park in the supply area, we are surpassing the watering of plants by switching to well water.

In response to a large-scale leak that occurred at the water intake facility on the Yahagi River in Toyota City, the Tokai Regional Agricultural Administration Bureau took emergency measures such as installing 42 pumps and pumping water directly from the river.

As a result, Aichi Prefecture requested that the amount of industrial water used be reduced to about 30% of the normal amount, and made it available in stages from the night of the 19th.

On the other hand, regarding agricultural water, the Agricultural Administration Bureau has not been able to secure the required number of pumps, and there is no prospect of recovery.

At Denpark, a flower theme park in Anjo City that receives agricultural water from this facility, we switched to well water for 300,000 plants on a site of approximately 13 hectares.

Normally, agricultural water supplied from the facility is stored in a tank, and now it is taken from a well.

Also, the method of watering was changed to select and sow plants that tend to dry in sunny places.

Masatoshi Kawai of Denpark said, "I am very worried when it gets hot in the future. I want you to recover as soon as possible."
