A Norwegian killed 5 people because he wanted to be "reborn"!

A man accused of terrorizing a Norwegian city last year with a bow, arrow and knife has admitted to stabbing five people, the Norwegian News Agency reported.

Although most of the focus was on the bow and arrow when the incident occurred last October, the injuries caused by the knife were the cause of the death of all those who stabbed them.

Most of the victims were killed in their homes.

Three others were wounded.

The man is also accused of throwing a knife at three policemen.

During the trial, the man justified his crime by wanting a new birth.

"I had the idea that I had to kill in order to be reborn in a good place," he said.

According to DPA, the prosecution hopes to place the suspect in a psychiatric facility, as he has said that he suffers from a mental disorder and is not responsible for his actions at the time of the attacks.

In the courtroom, prosecutors showed footage from surveillance footage showing the attacker targeting customers with a bow and arrow at a supermarket.

A customer holed up in the store's garage and called emergency services.

"Hide, hide," he told another customer during the call, according to the recording of the conversation.
