According to the official WeChat news of the Henan Provincial Health and Health Commission, from 0 to 24:00 on May 18, there were 11 new local confirmed cases in Henan Province (11 cases in Xuchang City), and new local asymptomatic infections. 9 cases (4 cases in Zhengzhou City, 4 cases in Xuchang City, 1 case in Hebi City), and no new local suspected cases.
1 new case of asymptomatic infection was imported from abroad, and there were no new confirmed or suspected cases imported from abroad.
16 local confirmed cases were cured and discharged, and 29 local asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation.
From January 21, 2020 to 24:00 on May 18, 2022, a total of 3,155 confirmed cases (2,944 local and 211 imported from abroad) were reported in the province, and 174 hospitalized cases (174 local) were still in medical treatment. 518 cases of asymptomatic infections were observed (503 domestic cases and 15 imported cases).
A total of 125,620 close contacts have been traced, and 23,295 close contacts are being observed.
