At the press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia in Shanghai held on May 19, in response to the recovery of the postal express industry, Feng Lihu, director of the Shanghai Postal Administration, said that not long ago, the Shanghai Postal Administration issued two batches of Whitelisted companies, with the efforts of all parties, have achieved initial results in the resumption of work and production in the industry:
First, the operations of distribution centers and outlets are gradually recovering.
It is expected that by early to mid-June, all distribution centers, branches and business outlets of all delivery companies in the city will resume operations.
Second, the postal express business volume is steadily picking up.
It is expected that by mid-June, the city's mail and express collection level will reach about 70% of the usual daily average.
Third, the personal mail express delivery business is being launched simultaneously.
It is expected that by early June, the operating outlets of all delivery companies will be able to resume the delivery business of personal mail express.
