Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 18th that it was confirmed that 2206 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It has fallen below the same day of the previous week for 5 consecutive days.
The breakdown is 836 in Fukuoka City, 447 in Kitakyushu City, and 171 in Kurume City.
A total of 404,285 people have been confirmed infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
