The pandemic is over.

At least that's the impression you get when you look at the red carpet at the opening of the Cannes Film Festival.

As of this Monday, France has lifted the mask requirement on buses and trains.

The masks were also looked for in vain in the pictures of the gala evening, only one or the other security employee was still wearing them.

The lightness of the pre-pandemic period is also back when it comes to the choice of clothes for film stars.

The Spanish actress Rossy de Palma, who otherwise likes to rush to parties with veils, hats and ruffles, showed this time that minimalism can be the greater risk: instead of a dress, she wore a blazer, with nylon stockings and high heels.

She has never given a damn about style rules, such as the one that only recommends an unrestricted view of the legs to younger women - and for this very reason is revered as a style muse by directors like Pedro Almodóvar.

The German influencer Caro Daur also followed the trend towards mini lengths in a Valentino dress whose pink ruffles shone brighter than the red of the carpet.

Valentino's chief designer Pierpaolo Piccioli had Pantone develop his own shade in a particularly bright pink, which also characterized the fall and winter collection of the Italian fashion house this year.

After the famous Valentino red, now also a Valentino pink.

But now it's your turn: Which outfit do you like best?

Vote.
