CSTO is alive.

And now it is many times more lively and effective than most Western organizations declaring collective cooperation.

Of course, yesterday, the spiteful critics as soon as they did not lash out in eloquence and wit, trying to prove that the meeting of the leaders of the countries that are members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization is all a fiction and a game for the public.

But!..

Taking into account both the events of the current and the events of the recent past, it becomes obvious that the CSTO exists not only on paper.

Obviously, in the short term, no one will cancel the challenges we are already facing.

But as the Western coalition led by the US and Britain fails in Ukraine, attempts to play dirty tricks in the CSTO member countries will increase.

Belarus and Kazakhstan know from their own experience what it is.

And the confrontation between Armenia and Azerbaijan on the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh cannot be discounted.

Plus, the frank statements of the Americans that after Ukraine they will deal with Taiwan clearly demonstrate the need to expand and deepen cooperation with the SCO, whose members at this historical stage have demonstrated resilience and sanity enviable by many Europeans in response to pressure to impose sanctions against Russia.

Of course, relations between the CSTO countries are not always cloudless, and there are certain disagreements on some issues.

However, now that the NATO military bloc has switched to the “who is not with us is against us” tactic, the main task is to discard all claims and respond to all challenges with a united front.

And this is currently the top priority for everyone who does not want a repeat of the Ukrainian or Afghan scenario for their country.

Therefore, yesterday's summit declared very clear goals and demonstrated clear formulations, not only describing the current situation, but also determining the vector of development and direction for the future.

In which, which is already obvious, it will not be easy for anyone.

But if we stick together and soberly assess reality, plus set priorities correctly, then it will be possible to cope with challenges much faster and more efficiently.

And yes, if you go beyond the imposed stereotypes and carefully analyze the activities and statements of the organization, then even a person who is absolutely not involved in geopolitical processes will notice the difference between relations within the CSTO and NATO.

I will say more: this difference is now so obvious that it is the format and formula of the CSTO that can become the basis for the formation of new international strategic institutions, the need for which will become acute after the end of the special military operation in Ukraine.
