Marion Maréchal will take a step back with Issep.

The former FN deputy, rallied since March to Eric Zemmour, indeed renounces her post as director general of the school of political science that she co-founded in Lyon almost four years ago.

She has just announced on her Twitter account on Monday that she would, however, keep her functions there.

📹 I came to explain to the students of @ISSEP_Lyon what my role will be in the school from now on: to supervise the professional network poles and international partnerships.

Of course, I am still involved in this project, to which I remain very attached!

“Today, I have a political activity with Reconquête and I am very attached to the independence of the school, to its non-partisan dimension, to the fact that it is an exclusively educational project, explains the niece of Marine Le Pen.

So to preserve this independence, this separation, I have decided to give up my position as general manager.

338 registrations at Issep de Lyon since September 2018

Marion Maréchal, who became vice-president of the Reconquest party alongside other defectors, such as ex-LR Guillaume Peltier and ex-RN Nicolas Bay, will now lead the professional network pole of the establishment.

The general management of the Institute of Social, Economic and Political Sciences (Issep) will be provided by its former deputy, Thibaut Monnier, also co-founder of this school, which opened a branch in Madrid in 2021. Marie Le Pen launched this school of political science in September 2018 in Lyon with the aim of training a “new political elite” and defending “rootedness” and “cultural identity”.

The establishment offers bac + 4 and bac + 5 “magistères” in political science and project management as well as continuing education to prepare its students “to exercise management functions in business or public affairs”.

These diplomas are not recognized by the State.

According to the school, 338 enrollments have been recorded since its opening, and its turnover in 2021 amounted to 1.1 million euros.

The faculty of Issep includes several figures of the French far right, such as Pascal Gauchon, founder of the New Forces Party, the former president of the Royal Alliance Yves-Marie Adeline and the conservative essayist Thibaud Collin.
