The launch of this train marks the further expansion of the railway-based trade channel between Hubei and major cities in Southeast Asian countries.

Compared with the traditional shipping method, the operation of the China-Laos Railway (Wuhan-Luang Prabang) international freight train saves more than half of the transportation time and greatly reduces the transportation cost of enterprises.
