[Explanation] In late April, the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination officially started.
Affected by the fifth wave of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, some candidates were listed as close contacts and were unable to take the test in the general examination room as scheduled.
The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority entrusted China Mobile Hong Kong Co., Ltd. to build a "5G cloud examination room" in the Penny's Bay Community Isolation Treatment Facility, so that they could complete this important exam in this special examination room.
Recently, Su Guangchao, the main person in charge of the "5G Cloud Examination Room" project and the Product Director of China Mobile Hong Kong Company, led reporters to visit the examination room and introduced the details of the "5G Cloud Examination Room" to the reporter.

The entire program provides 1400 rooms, 100 of which are used as proctoring rooms, so a total of about 1300 students can be accommodated.
Such a test room has some special requirements. One is to ensure the fairness of the test. The second is that our invigilators can remotely supervise the test process of our candidates to avoid direct contact between them and reduce the risk of infection.
[Explanation] In order to reduce the risk of infection and ensure the smooth progress of the exam, China Mobile Hong Kong Co., Ltd. has designed a remote 5G invigilation system.
Real-time video monitoring, storage and remote real-time intercom can be realized to facilitate instant communication between candidates and invigilators.
[Explanation] Su Guangchao told reporters that the construction time of the "5G cloud examination room" is very urgent. They received a request from the Hong Kong Examination and Assessment Bureau in early April to set up a remote invigilation system to ensure that candidates quarantined due to the epidemic can be released on April 22. Take the exam successfully from May 17th to May 17th.

We received the HKEAA's request in early April and carried out a lot of preparation work. In fact, it took only one week to enter the venue for delivery and complete the entire acceptance.
The second major challenge is that the design of the local examination rooms is not the same, so some signals are not stable, so our engineers must complete the installation of all equipment in advance, and reserve time for debugging these special examination rooms.
