His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, directed the allocation of 2.5 million dirhams to provide Sharjah libraries with the latest versions of Arabic and foreign books displayed at the 13th Sharjah Children's Reading Festival.

His Highness’s initiative stems from his efforts to support the book, its makers and readers, and in order to enrich Sharjah’s libraries with the latest publications that enrich their content, and contribute to providing readers, including researchers, academics, students and those interested in knowledge, with the latest publications of the publishing houses participating in the festival, in all sectors related to the world of childhood and its sources of knowledge.
