At this elementary school, the time for leaving school varies depending on the grade, and attention tends to be distracted, so I would like you to check the mark at your feet just before leaving school to raise awareness of accident prevention.

According to the police, there are 54 elementary school students in Gifu prefecture who had an accident while commuting to school during the five years until last year, which is more than double the number of students attending school.

Ryozo Tanaka, chairman of the "Traffic Safety Association Hashima City 10 Branches" who presented the mark, said, "Because I am distracted when I leave school, I hope I can call attention even a little by looking at the stop mark."
