4 new cases of monkeypox discovered in England
On Monday, health authorities said that four more cases of the rare viral monkeypox had been discovered in England.
The British Health Security Agency said investigations were under way to find a link between the last four cases.
Monkeypox is a rare viral disease similar to smallpox in humans.
It was declared eradicated in 1980. Although its symptoms are much milder than those of smallpox, with most people recovering within a few weeks, it can be fatal in rare cases.
