Taking off the protective clothing, Wang Shujuan returned to the special education school she founded to accompany the students from other provinces who were left behind due to the epidemic.

  In the past 20 years, Wang Shujuan has transformed from a mother of an autistic child to a "Mr. Wang" who has helped thousands of autistic families.

Along the way, the harvest is not only moved.

  Wang Shujuan introduced that in order to treat her autistic son Fengfeng, she had traveled to many places in China to seek medical treatment.

As a medical worker, Wang Shujuan knows that treatment does not wait for anyone. After trying rehabilitation training, she found that her child's condition has eased.

  In order to help more autistic children and families, in April 2003, Wang Shujuan founded a special child training and nursing center in Changchun.

"When it was first established, the supporting facilities were relatively simple." Wang Shujuan admitted that at that time, there was only one student in Fengfeng, and she led the only teacher to explore special education methods. With the help of various local departments, the school has Moved to a new location in 2010.

  Since then, many autistic families, ranging from 2 to 28 years old, have turned to her for help.

Today, the number of professional teachers in this special education school has expanded to 56.

  At present, the special education school opened by Wang Shujuan has helped thousands of families. During this period, she constantly exchanged experiences with similar institutions and chose the most effective rehabilitation training method for children with autism. Most of the autistic children who have undergone rehabilitation training return to campus.

  "Now Fengfeng can wash and cook independently, and he has learned to take care of himself and others." Wang Shujuan said that she was very pleased with her son Fengfeng's "performance" during the epidemic.

  "In the future, I would like to continue to expand the scope of services for children with autism." Wang Shujuan said that autism not only affects children, but also brings challenges to families and society. She hopes to help more children lead a normal life and eventually integrate into society.
