While cases of wild stings are increasing everywhere in night establishments throughout France, a suspect was arrested in possession of a syringe, on the night of Saturday to Sunday in Lyon.

The facts took place in Ninkasi Gerland, where the man was spotted by the security guards of the establishment shortly before the closing of the premises, reveals France 3.

However, the plastic syringe did not have a needle,

The 24-year-old suspect also had on him two blotters of LSD and a vial containing GBL, a chemical precursor to GHB.

No victim identified

Placed in police custody for offenses against the narcotics legislation, the person concerned indicated that it was for his personal consumption.

“The investigation confirmed that he was a drug addict and occasional consumer of these products,” adds the prosecution, specifying that no victim was identified during the evening and no complaint was filed.

Without a criminal record, the man will be the subject of an alternative to prosecution for the use of narcotics.
