Yamaguchi Prefecture and Shimonoseki City announced on the 14th that it was confirmed that 319 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 39,949 people have been confirmed to be infected in the prefecture.
The prefecture also announced that a woman in her 50s, who had been receiving medical treatment at home, had died.
Now, 175 people have died after being infected with the new coronavirus.
