The reporter learned today from the flood control department of Guilin City, Guangxi that as of 8:00 on May 10, in the past 24 hours, Guilin City has generally experienced moderate to heavy rain, urban areas, Xing'an, Lingchuan, Quanzhou, Lingui, Longsheng, Yongfu, etc. The counties (districts) experienced heavy rains to heavy rains. There were 467 stations with more than 50 mm in the city, 120 stations with more than 100 mm, and Chijiang, Dingjiang Town, Lingchuan County, where the rainfall reached 171.5 mm.

  Affected by the heavy rainfall, the main and tributaries of the Lijiang, Xiangjiang, Guyihe, Luoqingjiang and other rivers experienced a rise of 0.5 to 2.5 meters. The hydrological center stations such as Lingchuan, Xing'an, and Quanzhou have issued blue flood warnings in advance.

At 8:00, the water levels of all major rivers were below the warning water level.

  It is expected that in the next 24 hours, there will be a flood process of about 0.5 meters above the warning level in the Xing'an County section of the Xiangjiang River and the Rongjiang Town section of the Darong River in the upper reaches of the Lijiang River. The water level of the river in the county will continue to rise by about 3 meters.
