Madonna is also embarking on NFTs.

The singer has teamed up with artist Beeple (Mike Vinkelmann), best known for selling an NFT for $69 million last year, to create three digital alter egos.

An "NFT triptych" which, according to the Material Girl, represents "different forms of birth in our contemporary world".

The work took a year to create.

“When Mike and I decided to collaborate on this project a year ago, I was thrilled to be able to share my vision of the world as a mother and an artist with Mike's unique point of view.

It's an extraordinary journey to build this project, from an intellectual idea to an emotional story, giving birth to art.

I wanted to study the concept of creation, not only how a child enters the world through a woman's vagina, but also how an artist gives birth to creativity.

But above all, we wanted to take this opportunity to help the mothers and children who need it the most right now, ”revealed the star in a press release, relayed by Billboard.

The work is titled

Mother of Creation

.

A good cause

To respond to all NFT critics who believe that this kind of virtual product is a scam, Madonna has decided that the sale of this work will benefit three charities: Voices of Children, which helps affected women and children by the war in Ukraine;

City of Joy, which fights to defend victims of violence in Congo;

Black Mama's Bail Out, which supports incarcerated mothers by helping them pay their bail.

The Moonpay cryptocurrency platform also announced that it would donate $100,000 to each association.

The three virtual works will go on sale on SuperRare starting this Wednesday.
