Ashraf Zaki: Ahmed Helmy is subjected to paid smear campaigns

After the attack on the new movie "One Tani" and the accusations against the Egyptian star Ahmed Helmy of using indecent words at work, the artist Ashraf Zaki, the captain of the acting professions in Egypt, commented on the matter.

The representative of the Syndicate of Acting Professions said, in an intervention on the program "Hadrat Al-Muwatin" by the journalist Syed Ali and broadcast on the Egyptian channel "Al-Hadath Al-Youm": "There is an authority called censorship of artistic works to which the film is shown, and it is the one that prevents or authorizes it, but paid campaigns and electronic battalions are always ready." .

Zaki added: "It should be noted that cinema is an industry based on competition, and competition is based on hitting the competitor or some production, and distorting the product in order to hit its own market is not a new language."

And he continued, "Some are disturbed by the impact of the "The Choice" series, and I tell them to prepare with what is stronger, and we will increase your madness."

A lawyer had submitted a complaint to the Public Prosecutor against the movie "One Tani" starring Ahmed Helmy, which was recently shown in the films of the Eid al-Fitr season.

In his communication, the lawyer also mentioned that the film relies on the luminous dress that Helmy takes to change his life, as well as many sexual innuendos that have no aim other than to promote homosexuality.

The movie "One Other" revolves around a young man who loses passion and tries to regain it through a luminous mask, and co-starring Ahmed Helmy, Ruby, Amr Abdel Jalil, Sayed Ragab, Nasreen Amin, Nour Ehab, Ahmed Malik, Amr Wahba and Mohamed Al-Taji, and the film is written by Haitham Dabour and directed by Mohamed Shakir Khudair.
