Akiko Okumura (29), a part-time job in Naniwa Ward, Osaka, was arrested.



According to police, she is suspected of attempted murder on the morning of the 10th, when she left her baby in a hotel room in Kainochohigashi, Sakai-ku, Sakai City after giving birth.



When an employee went into cleaning a hotel room, he heard a baby crying and confirmed that a newborn baby girl was found in her toilet bowl.



At the time of her discovery, the lid of her toilet bowl was closed with the umbilical cord attached, which means that the baby was immediately taken to the hospital and there was nothing wrong with her life.



Her mother has admitted her suspicion to her investigation, so police are investigating the details.
