Spring is still on the calendar, but summer temperatures of up to 30 degrees are expected in many areas of Germany this week.

As reported by the German Weather Service (DWD), the week begins warm and friendly on Monday, with up to 27 degrees in the south and south-west and up to 24 degrees in Brandenburg, Berlin and Saxony.

In the north it is a bit cooler with up to 22 degrees.

Up to 30 on Wednesday

On Tuesday and Wednesday, on the other hand, outdoor pool weather is almost announced: In the south and south-west, the DWD expects up to 29 degrees on Tuesday and up to 30 degrees on Wednesday.

However, a dip in the sea would still only be for the die-hards, because it stays cooler in the north: the maximum temperatures in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania are expected to be 26 degrees and on Sylt 22 degrees.

On Thursday, however, it will cool down again everywhere in Germany - and spring will come again.
