How to restore degraded land, which no longer retains moisture and which is less and less fertile?

This is one of the main challenges of the COP15 against desertification, which opens this Monday, May 9 in Abidjan.

The choice of Côte d'Ivoire to host this world meeting is all the more relevant since, according to the FAO, sub-Saharan Africa is the region of the world hardest hit by desertification.

At the heart of this event, the Ivorian Minister of the Environment Jean-Luc Assi, answers questions from Christophe Boisbouvier.
