As of 8:00 on May 7, a total of 43 confirmed cases and 62 asymptomatic infections have been reported in this round of epidemic in Xuchang City.
At present, all of them have been closed-loop transported to designated hospitals for treatment.
According to Li Xiao, deputy director of the Xuchang Municipal Government Office, four rounds of nucleic acid testing have been completed to ensure that nucleic acid testing is "full, orderly, and reliable" in response to the current epidemic prevention and control situation.
As of 8:00 this morning, 5,431 people in close contact and 27,526 people in sub-close contact have been investigated, all of which have implemented isolation control measures as required to effectively eliminate risk points; a total of 74 centralized isolation points, 11,833 isolation rooms, and 9,807 people have been isolated in Xuchang City; 41 sealed and controlled areas and 151 control areas were designated.
