The mountain collapsed. After preliminary investigation, it was found that the collapse caused three elderly people to lose contact.
It is understood that the mountain where the collapse occurred is the hidden danger point of dangerous rock collapse in Baiyan Community, Jinfeng Street, Zhijin County. After preliminary verification, the amount of collapsed volume is about 25,000 cubic meters.
In 2018, all 278 households with 1095 people in the hidden danger area were relocated.
After the mountain collapsed, the local emergency, fire and other relevant departments quickly carried out emergency response and rescue work, and conducted a door-to-door inspection of the surrounding area.
Since there are still about 10,000 cubic meters of residual body on the mountain, there are still sporadic falling blocks and it is in an unstable state. In order to prevent secondary disasters, on-site experts suggest strengthening the management and control of the threat area.
