West China Metropolis Daily-Cover reporter Yang Lan

After a day and night of continuous construction, in the early morning of May 6, the first floor slab of the basement of the new Sanxingdui Museum project undertaken by China Construction Eighth Bureau was successfully completed, pressing the "accelerate button" for the efficient construction and high-quality performance of the project.

It is reported that the pouring area of the first base plate of the project exceeds 4,000 square meters, and the cumulative amount of concrete poured is nearly 4,000 cubic meters, which belongs to super-large volume concrete pouring.

Next, the new Sanxingdui Museum has entered the construction stage of the main structure in an all-round way.

"The whole project of the new museum includes two parts: the basement and the ground. Previously, the construction of the main steel structure of the reservoir area in the west area of the project has already begun. The completion of this floor pouring also marks the full start of the main construction of the project." China Construction Eighth Bureau Project manager Li Wenbo introduced that the construction period of the new Sanxingdui Museum is about one year, with a construction area of about 54,400 square meters, which is five times the area of the existing venue. It is an extra-large, world-class museum.

Transplanting seedlings and demolishing existing buildings to complete the field work within 10 days

The new Sanxingdui Museum project is located in the Sanxingdui Museum Park, where there are a lot of green plants and existing public buildings.

"Before entering the site, there were thousands of seedlings, including Bodhi." Li Wenbo pointed to the construction site in front of him and told reporters that in order to ensure the smooth progress of the main construction, adhering to the principle of protecting the natural ecology of the park, in the early stage, through mechanical and manual cooperation , within 5 days, all the seedlings were transplanted to the designated areas such as the site of the west city wall of the park and the archaeological site park.

"This piece is the former Sanxingdui Cultural and Creative Museum." Li Wenbo introduced that while the seedlings were transplanted, the project also demolished the existing public toilets, cultural and creative museums, sewage treatment stations and other buildings, and completed within 10 days. Nearly 10,000 square meters of yard work was carried out, which provided a guarantee for earthwork excavation and later main construction.

Water channel diversion, anti-floating bolt anchoring foundation pit construction accelerated

"Part of the new building project has a basement with a depth of about 7 meters. Before the bottom plate is poured, complex foundation pit construction needs to be carried out." Li Wenbo introduced that there was an east-west aqueduct with a length of more than 240 meters at the site of the foundation pit. Spring irrigation and water supply, before the excavation of the foundation pit, the project department built a new canal on the edge of the foundation pit to connect with the downstream irrigation canal, and set up two grit chambers at the water inlet and outlet. The water ruler, after the diversion, has greatly improved the water capacity of the channel.

In addition to diversion of water channels, "water" is both a key point and a difficulty for the project department during the entire foundation pit excavation stage.

The groundwater of the Xinguan project is connected to the Yazi River, and has great fluidity. In order to resist the buoyancy of the groundwater, thousands of anti-floating anchors need to be anchored.

Because the traditional cement mortar, water glass and other bolt grouting methods are easy to cause the collapse of the anchor hole and the failure of grouting, the project department and relevant units have carried out on-site verification and analysis, using the high-pressure rotary jet bolt grouting method. The adverse effect of the high fluidity of groundwater on the bolt grout is eliminated, and the bearing capacity requirements are met.

8,500 tons of steel structure can be used to create an "ice ribbon"

The entire Sanxingdui Museum new building project only has a basement in the middle.

Except for the basement, all the above-ground building parts of the project will be composed of steel grid structure and curtain wall.

A few days ago, with the stable and accurate placement of the first steel column in the west reservoir area, the construction of the main steel structure in the non-basement area has begun.

According to reports, the main part of the museum on the ground has a large exhibition space without columns, and the large-span cantilevered steel structure and super-heavy spiral staircase will become the most distinctive and challenging parts.

"The new pavilion contains a large area of large-span steel roof structures, the largest span of which is nearly 40 meters, which is a focus of our later steel structure construction. The heavy responsibility of supporting the roof steel structure will be handed over to hundreds of steel structures with a diameter of about 0.6 Meters and a steel column with a height of about 5.9 meters.” Li Wenbo introduced that the Sanxingdui Museum uses a large amount of steel and is expected to use 8,500 tons of steel for the entire steel structure, which is equivalent to the amount of steel used for the entire “Ice Ribbon”.

According to reports, after the bottom plate is poured, the project will promote the main construction in a large area. It is expected that the basement will be capped in June this year, and the main structure will be capped in September.
