Miyagi Prefecture and Sendai City announced on the 6th that 230 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
Sendai City also announced that one patient had died.
The cumulative total of infected people in the prefecture was 75,872, and the total number of infected people who died was 191.
