Many people know Jiang Shengnan from the heroine drama "The Legend of Miyue".

Jiang Shengnan, as a professional drama screenwriter at the Wenzhou Institute of Culture and Art in Zhejiang Province, is a rare professional and professional writer among online writers.

In the world of novels, Jiang Shengnan prefers to set a "big heroine" and is keen to write the magnificent life of legendary women in different historical eras.

For example, Mi Yue, Xiao Yanyan and other characters are the objects of her writing.

Taking Liu E's legendary life as the main line

In the latest novel "Heavenly Holy Order", the protagonist of the story set up by Jiang Shengnan is Song Zhangxian, the empress of Mingsu Liu E (the heroine of the legendary "civet cat for the prince").

Jiang Shengnan takes Liu E's legendary life for more than half a century as the main line, and focuses on the historical features of the three dynasties of Taizong, Zhenzong and Renzong in the early Northern Song Dynasty.

On the basis of in-depth excavation of historical documents, Jiang Shengnan also used artistic aesthetic imagination to skillfully integrate court anecdotes and folklore, and clearly depict a magnificent historical picture.

Liu E lived through the three dynasties of Emperor Taizong, Zhenzong, and Renzong of the Northern Song Dynasty. During this period, there were countless major historical events and stories, which have already become folk romances and legends, such as Zhao Guangyi's candle shadow and axe, the death of Madam Huarui, Yang Jiajiang and Pan Mei, The Eight Sages and Kou Zhun, Zhang Yong, who is listed in the "Thirty-Three Swordsmen", and the Empress Dowager Xiao of the Liao Dynasty and Han Derang, etc.

Jiang Shengnan first heard Liu E's story when he was a child watching the well-known drama "The Civet Cat for the Prince".

"This is about the only knowledge we ordinary people have of this Empress Zhenzong. Later, in a notebook novel, when I saw Zhenzong entrusting state affairs to Liu Houji when he was dying, I couldn't help but be a little surprised: what kind of Liu E A man could actually be entrusted by the emperor with state affairs. After a certain period of time, he was obsessed with a series of historical romances, but in a record about the history of the Song Dynasty, he saw that Liu E was praised by historians as "there is Lu (pheasant) martial arts. The talent of (Zentian) has no evil of Lu Wu". Curiosity and surprise have aroused my curiosity and exploration of the character Liu E."

After exploration, Jiang Shengnan found that the three major female protagonists recognized by historians are: "Queen Lu of Han, Queen Wu of Tang, and Queen Liu of Song", and Queen Liu refers to Liu E.

The title of the book is taken from the era of Song Renzong

In Jiang Shengnan's view, Liu E can be said to be an outstanding representative of Song Dynasty women.

She was established as a queen when she was in her forties, and later took charge of the government, which contributed to the later Song Renzong's benevolent government.

She is not the "treacherous concubine" in the legend, but a politician with great wisdom, so later history highly praised her as having the talents of Empress Lu and Wu Zetian without their cruelty.

The name of the book "Tiansheng Ling" comes from the reign title "Tiansheng" in the early period of Song Renzong.

However, compared to Empress Lv and Empress Wu, who have appeared in many novels, movies and TV series, Empress Liu of Song is rarely known.

What is well-known is only the false "civet cat for the prince".

Although there are many unofficial legends, there is still no complete historical novel to write the life of this outstanding woman in the Song Dynasty.

This also prompted Jiang Shengnan to write this "big heroine" historical novel with Liu E as the protagonist.

"Tian Sheng Ling", together with "Yan Yun Tai" previously created by Jiang Shengnan, and "Iron-blood Rouge", which is currently being created, are called "Song, Liao and Xia Trilogy".

These three works are all from the perspective of female politicians in history, panorama of three specific historical periods of Song, Liao and Xia, through the heroine's personal struggle experience, slowly unfolding a long historical picture for readers.
