A pair of arctic wolves gave birth to five cubs in April at the Argonne Découverte Park in Olizy-Primat (Ardennes).

This is the second litter of parents, Amande and Yéti.

The female had already given birth to five cubs in 2020, indicates France 3 Grand Est.

The news was announced by the establishment on Facebook on Wednesday.

The park uploaded a short video showing the Cubs in the middle of the night, startled by the light of a lamp.

It is difficult to distinguish their number.

However, babies do not have the same white color as their parents.

The message accompanying the images promises to give news of the young animals "soon".

Little ones in the shelter

Zoo officials also said the cubs will not be seen by visitors immediately.

They remain holed up in their den for now and "will gradually come out over the next few weeks under the supervision of their families", the park said.
