A mysterious black cube was seen emerging from the sun in footage broadcast by the American space agency “NASA” camera, before the site was suddenly closed, causing widespread conspiracy theories, but experts say there is a reasonable explanation for this phenomenon, according to what several media outlets reported, including Britain's Metro and Mirror.

Conspiracy theorist Scott C. Waring wrote on his blog: "I was watching the sun on SOHO broadcast (Sun observatory and its cover), when I noticed a black cube in several frames of the video. Just after the cube came out of the sun, a huge solid black screen covered 25 % of the entire viewing space. It is clear that NASA is trying to hide these cubes from us."

The accident was said to have occurred on May 2.

The footage was recorded by the Sun and Heliosphere Observatory.

The observatory is part of a joint project between NASA and the European Space Agency.

Waring claims that the site was shut down shortly after he discovered the cube.

This isn't the first time a black cube has been spotted near the sun, as Waring has reported seeing a similar cube in the past.

And he posted a video of the cube on his YouTube site, which garnered thousands of views.

One person commented: "Awesome clip. I get angry every time they hide something like this."

Although this may sound suspicious, experts have a plausible explanation. “This is of course nonsense,” Bernard Flick, a project scientist and mission manager at the Soho office previously explained to Vice. “The black square is due to a mass of Telemetry missing (damaged)".

This means that the black square is a bug in the footage and not something mysterious or that "NASA" is trying to hide a spacecraft from us.
