According to the official WeChat news of the Zhejiang Provincial Health and Health Commission, from 0-24 on May 4, 11 cities in Zhejiang Province reported 34 new local positive cases, of which 21 were detected in centralized isolation points and assisted in the investigation. 11 cases (positive crew members of maritime humanitarian assistance in Zhoushan City) and 2 cases of community screening have been reported, and control measures have been implemented.

Among them, there are no imported cases; 10 local cases (1 in Wenzhou, 1 in Huzhou, and 8 in Zhoushan), all of which were newly detected and confirmed on the same day.
On the same day, 4 new cases were cured and discharged, and 1,182 close contacts were released from medical observation.
11 cities reported 28 new cases of asymptomatic infections.
Among them, 4 cases were imported from abroad (1 case from Cameroon, 1 case from Egypt, 1 case from Hong Kong, China, and 1 case from Suriname); 24 domestic cases (2 cases in Hangzhou, 2 cases in Ningbo, 2 cases in Wenzhou, 9 cases in Jiaxing). As of 24:00 on the 4th, a total of 3,124 confirmed cases have been reported in the province.
