  "Beizhuang Youth" tells a touching story: In 1945, the parents of Beizhuang child Baoshan entrusted the young Baoshan to the neighbor Xiuer, and resolutely embarked on the road of fighting devils.

Thirty-five people from the village participated in the Pingshan group to fight the devils, leaving behind a few small children to be looked after by Xiuer and several elderly people. The children called her "Mama Xiuer".

  Beizhuang Village, Xibaipo Town, Pingshan County, Hebei Province is the birthplace of the song "Unity is Strength", reflecting the voice of all Chinese people for the war of resistance.

Xiuer taught the children to sing "Unity is Strength" and learn culture.

  During the war, Baoshan's young parents gave their precious lives to fight against the Japanese invaders.

Xiuer also moved from youth to middle age, Baoshan grew up, and had a child called "forward".

In 1977, when the country resumed the college entrance examination, Baoshan ran ecstatically in the fields of Beizhuang, which he was familiar with, and shouted to Xiuer, who was working in the fields, "Mother Xiuer, I want to go to university!"

  Xiu Er shed tears of relief, and at the same time took on the important task of raising Baoshan children.

Until one day, Baoshan, who had left his hometown, received a letter, which said: Mother Xiuer is gone, move forward and settle down. Before she left, mother Xiuer instructed not to come back, to teach with peace of mind, and to let the children There is culture... Facing the letter, Baoshan has already burst into tears.

  Time flies, and generations of Beizhuang young people continue to move forward in order to protect their families and the country, build homes, fight poverty, and revitalize the countryside.

Baoshan's children went forward to grow up after college and returned to build their hometown. He firmly believed that under the leadership of the party, on the new road to take the exam, the fathers and the villagers will be better united, and the life will become more and more prosperous...

  The director of the film, Nie Yong, said in an interview that "Beizhuang Youth" started from grandparents charging forward for the country, Xiuer's mother dedicated her youth to protecting the two generations, and her grandson rooted her youth on this hot land.
