“Star Wars” is one of the most popular sagas in culture.

Feature films, anime, video games and books have thrilled millions of people to the ends of the globe.

In our country, they are tens of thousands, each year, to go to conventions and events on this theme.

"Star Wars Generation" is one of the appointments.

Closing this Sunday, May 1, the convention was a moment of sharing and exchange: "Meeting other fans, that's also why I like to invest myself so much in Star Wars", confides Loïc to us.

The young man is one of the organizers of the event, and a member of the association "The heirs of the Force".

“We already have a marriage proposal during the convention.

And some members of our association got together,”

From passion to transmission

It was during a trip with friends to see “Star Wars: Rogue One” that Jérémy looked at Amandine.

Love struck him then.

"That's when I realized that she too was a member of the association "Les Héritiers de la Force" (…) We've been together for five years, and today we have a child of eleven months,” he says.

Sebastian, who discovered the saga when he was little, is now the father of a two-year-old child.

He now wishes to transmit his passion to his son.

“Now is the time to start being strategic,” he admits.

I want to pass on the passion for Star Wars to him without overwhelming him.

The worst would be to disgust him”.

The young father lends his figurines to his child, at the risk of breakage.

“When he has a question, I am there to answer him.

And if he breaks a few characters, it's not very serious.

The most important thing is that he has fun,” he says.
