The newspaper
Le Monde
returns to the revelation of the
Politico
site : "
an extraordinary leak concerning a potentially historic decision
".
Because the Supreme Court of the United States, with a conservative majority, is preparing to cancel a judgment recognizing for almost half a century the right to abortion.
This leak "
confirms the incandescent politicization of internal debates, within the Supreme Court, where questions of law have seemed to give way, over the years, to more religious and ideological considerations
", according to the newspaper.
The photo of a woman with her fist raised holding a hanger is on the front page of
Liberation
, a reference of course to the violence of clandestine abortions.
Women are at risk of using it again as 26 states could follow suit at the Supreme Court if the ruling is overturned.
L'Humanité
tries to decipher the political evolution within the body: "
