It is on this date that Cyril Lignac's brand new cooking show will begin on M6.
A pastry show called
The Academy of Cakes
, for which the channel has just revealed the launch date.
The project for this pastry academy show was announced a few weeks ago.
The link between the channel and the pastry chef has been going on since 2005. This will be the fifteenth program from the M6 group to feature Cyril Lignac.

Training and a key contract
The principle of
The cake academy
is also already known: 24 candidates in professional retraining will undergo training to become pastry chef, under the eye of the cameras of the 6. A training which they will also follow under the eye of Cyril Lignac , director of the academy of cakes, and two teachers.
Each week, participants will fight for the title of best student.
Three candidates will be eliminated each week.
The candidate who emerges as the big winner of
The Cake Academy
will win a contract in one of Cyril Lignac's pastries, as well as the sum of 10,000 euros and CAP training.
