It took three years to find a buyer.

Located near the Bréhat archipelago (Côtes-d'Armor), the small island of Roc'h ar Hon has finally been sold, as our colleagues from

France Bleu Armorique

report .

This little corner of paradise was put up for sale for 1.685 million euros in 2019.

In its announcement, the luxury real estate agency Sotheby's mentioned "a superb customs island" with "a pretty house built in 1758 of 140 m²" and numerous paths and stairs allowing "to walk through lush nature and reach the gatehouse at the top of the island”.

A private slipway also provides access to this small rock of 6,420 m2.

Questioned by the radio, a real estate adviser from the agency confirms that “the deed of sale was signed on April 14”.

The amount of the sale was not disclosed.

We just know that the buyer is French and that “the island will become his second home”.
