On December 27, 2020, Mauricette became the first French woman to receive a dose of anti-Covid vaccine in a hospital in Sevran, in Seine-Saint-Denis.

In a decree issued on April 22, 18 months later, the Prefecture announced the closure of all vaccination centers in the department.

According to Actu Seine-St-Denis, these will have made it possible, in total, to carry out 1.1 million primary injections.

67% of people vaccinated in the department

To justify this decision, the prefecture explains that the too low level of vaccination no longer justifies keeping them open.

The succession should now be provided by city medicine.

The prefectural decree thus ensures that health professionals in the city are "able to respond" to the needs of the population.

Our colleagues recall that pharmacies and city caregivers authorized to vaccinate are listed on the santé.fr website.

In Seine-Saint-Denis, the proportion of inhabitants having received at least a first dose is 67%, the lowest vaccination rate in mainland France.

The national average is currently 81%.
