China News Service, Beijing, May 2 (Reporter Du Yan) Today, the Beijing Municipal Medical Security Bureau stated that since May 3, the price of a single sample of new coronavirus nucleic acid in Beijing has been reduced from 24.9 yuan to 19.7 yuan per time, and mixed testing will be carried out. The price is simultaneously reduced from 5.9 yuan per sample to 3.4 yuan.

According to the Beijing Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau, the bureau, together with the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, the Municipal Finance Bureau, and the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, issued the "Notice on Further Reducing the Price of Novel Coronavirus Nucleic Acid Testing Items".

The price is the highest government-guided price, and testing institutions are not allowed to go up, but can adjust the price according to their own circumstances, and there is no limit to the extent of the price.

For those who simply conduct nucleic acid testing, no outpatient medical service fee will be charged.

At the same time, based on the latest domestic lowest prices, Beijing has simultaneously launched a linked price limit for major testing consumables such as nucleic acid detection reagents, extraction reagents, and sampling tubes to further reduce the cost of purchasing consumables for testing institutions.

According to the Beijing Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau, Beijing public medical institutions, non-public medical insurance designated medical institutions, and disease control institutions can purchase at the online price through the Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau's recruitment platform, which can simultaneously reduce the cost of testing.

The Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau also encourages other testing institutions to purchase through the Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau's procurement platform (you can consult the Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau's Recruitment and Procurement Center) to effectively reduce the procurement cost of testing consumables.
