With animal support into the new year of life: For Princess Charlotte's seventh birthday, the British Duchess Kate published a photo of her daughter cuddling with the family dog Orla.
The middle daughter of Prince William and Kate, who was born on May 2, 2015, romped around in a meadow with her hair loose.
Kate is said to have taken the photo last weekend in Norfolk, east England, where the family has a country estate.
Cocker spaniel Orla has been living with the Cambridges since 2020.
Shortly after his arrival, former family dog Lupo, a wedding gift from Kate's brother James Middleton, died.
Princess Charlotte has largely lived outside of the public eye.
Most recently, however, she accompanied her parents to two important dates: the memorial service for her great-grandfather Prince Philip in Westminster Abbey and the traditional Easter service.
Charlotte is currently fourth in line to the British throne.
