Eid Al Fitr this year.. the Islamic world celebrates on 3 different days
Today, Monday, May 2, 2022, most Islamic countries celebrate the first day of Eid al-Fitr, while a few countries have announced that the first Sunday of May is the first day of Eid.
A third group of countries announced that Eid will fall on the third Tuesday of May.
Eid al-Fitr began on Sunday in Afghanistan, Niger and Mali, while Monday falls in most Islamic countries, including: the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Turkey, Tunisia, Syria, Palestine, Qatar, Lebanon , Libya, Egypt, and Mauritania.
As for the countries that considered Eid to begin on Tuesday, they are India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Iran.
