As noted, according to statistics, during the May holidays, the number of fires increases to 30%: summer residents resume work, put things in order on their plots, preparing for the sowing season.

Earlier, Andrei Yeritsov, deputy head of Avialesookhrana, said on the Russia 24 TV channel that high risks of forest fires during the May holidays are predicted in the Primorsky, Trans-Baikal Territories, the Jewish Autonomous Region and in the south of the Siberian Federal District.
