Among them, four people, including the owner Wu Mouyong and the person in charge of design and construction Long Moukai, were suspected of major liability accidents, and five people from Hunan Xiangda Engineering Inspection Co., Ltd. were suspected of providing false certification documents.

  The report said that after the "4.29" residents' self-built houses collapsed in Wangcheng District, the Changsha Public Security Bureau quickly set up a special team to investigate the accident.

After investigation, four people including Wu Mouyong (homeowner, from Wangcheng District), Long Moukai (from Wangcheng District), head of design and construction, Ren Mousheng (from Wangcheng District), and Xue Mouzong (from Leshan, Sichuan) were in the area.   After investigation, on April 13 this year, Hunan Xiangda Engineering Inspection Co., Ltd. (legal representative, Mr. Tan, company nature: private, registered place: Moon Island Street, Wangcheng District) was responsible for the self-built family hotel (4, 5, 6 Building) issued a false house safety appraisal report after conducting a house safety appraisal. The company’s legal representative, Tan, and technical staff, Ning, Tang, Liu, and Gong, were suspected of providing false certification documents.

  On May 1, the public security organs have placed the above nine persons in criminal detention.
