A Nigerian has been extracting the teeth of dead people in a cemetery since 2016

The Osun State Security Network in Nigeria has arrested a 33-year-old, Aviz Odosanya, who is extracting the teeth of dead bodies in a cemetery for the purpose of performing rituals to get money.

Aviz admitted that he had started his heinous act since 2016. RT quoted the website Vanguardngr as saying, "I was arrested after I evacuated a body in a cemetery in Elisha, which I wanted to use for money rituals... I have evacuated the bodies since In 2016, its parts were removed for money ritual purposes, but the ritual failed.”

"I evacuated the bodies in Sagamo, Ogun state, but I was caught in Osun while trying to extract a tooth," he added.

Aviz stated that it takes about 30 minutes to remove the tooth from the body, noting that it takes less time in his previous experience, advising other young people who are trying to venture into money rituals to stop it "because it is not real."

Amitulu Chito, field commander Osun Amutkon, stated that the suspect would be handed over to conventional security for trial.
