What does that remind you of?

Honestly, not much.

I sang with and not against a friend, Emilie, whom I met a few months ago at a singing competition.

She would have deserved just as much as me to win with 75% of the vote.

This score is for me very secondary compared to the rest.

This cross battle was very complicated emotionally. 

What was stressing you out?

The problem wasn't stress.

It was difficult for me to sing against a friend.

It was emotionally complicated.

We were the last two Swiss on this adventure.

We wanted to go as far as possible, as compatriots and as friends.

And unfortunately we ended up singing against each other. 

You have chosen to perform "L'Enfer".

Why ?

Stromae is an artist that I admire.

He is a genius in his writing, in his relationship to marketing.

His song, which evokes depression, burnout, suicidal thoughts, spoke to many people in France, in the Francophonie and even beyond.

This text touched and marked me.

At the time of filming the cross battle,

was very recent, it had been released two or three weeks earlier.

Stromae interprets it in his own way, with restraint, I wanted to exteriorize the emotions, start calm and let a form of violence burst.

Marc Lavoine told me that on this kind of music, I had to expose myself, to tell my truth.

Is it revenge in some way?

I put myself in the shoes of the coaches, blind auditions are never easy.

At no time did I feel revenge.

Above all, I wanted to prove to myself that I had my place in

and that I could do better than what I had offered at the blind auditions.

(laughs) Yes, she is my good fairy, she gave me this second chance which I took.
