Two friends meet by chance after 70 years apart in an unexpected place

In a fateful coincidence that may only happen in movies, two friends met after separating Duck for more than 70 years, but this time in a nursing home.

The two friends separated after they married in 1951, but after more than seven decades, the surprise came in a nursing home.

The friendship between Audrey Sitchton and Margaret Moore, 86, was strong when they were students at Bilt Road Girls' School in Staffordshire, Britain, during the late 1940s and early 1950s.

The last meeting between them was when they were 15 years old, as the marriage of both of them separated them in 1951, and there has been no further meeting between them since that date, even though they live in the same area in Britain.

But more than seven decades later, they were reunited when Audrey moved into a nursing home in the area during repair work on her home, according to Monte Carlo and sputnik.

Audrey described the coincidence as "incredible" and said that she "recognized Margaret immediately", adding: "It was great to meet again and talk and remember our school days."

Margaret, a mother of four and a grandmother of seven, has lived in the home since 2021. She said that the surprise was great and that she recognized Audrey immediately.
