On April 1, we launched 20 Mint, not convinced ourselves that it wasn't an April Fool's joke.
Since then, the project has taken on unsuspected proportions.
On April 26 and 27, we sold all 999 NFTs
A first editorial meeting will take place on Discord on May 4 for those who own the famous typewriters.
Four weeks right after the launch of the 20 Mint operation, the 999 NFTs imagined by Capsule Corp.
Labs to pilot the free
20 Minutes
magazine devoted to Web3 have all been created.
And sold...
1. Two days to sell everything
On April 27 at 6 p.m., the public sale of our NFTs opened.
The high price chosen by the community, 0.0999 ether, did not deter buyers.
In fifteen hours, the 500 and some machines still available for purchase after the private sale the day before, found takers.
A real pride for us and the start of an even more exciting new phase.
2. Ten Ledger to distribute
Our partner Ledger, a global specialist in physical cryptocurrency wallets, had hidden 10 Ledger in our NFTs.
Those who discovered one on their typewriter visual won a Nano S Plus offered by the French unicorn.
We will indicate at the end of next week how to proceed to claim it.
3. A second-hand typewriter?
If you haven't had time to get your NFT 20 Mint, you can still catch up by going to the Opensea platform.
You will find some models offered for sale by their owner.
We are delighted to know that new members will be able to join us thanks to them.
And that enriches us, too.
Well, a little bit.
3% of the resale goes to 20 Mint and 3% to Capsule Corp.
Labs.
It's not huge but we prefer to point it out to you.
4. And now the first editorial meeting
If you have one of the typewriters, take note of this meeting:
Wednesday, May 4, at 6:30 p.m.,
the Capsule Corp Labs team and the 20 Minutes team will meet to launch the next stage of the project live on Discord.
We will discuss with you the voting mechanics, the first topics that should make up the magazine and we will try to answer your outstanding questions.
For those absent, we will record the session and make it available to you.
5. Meanwhile on Discord…
If the sale was a success, it is above all thanks to the community gathered on Discord which helped out in real time those who were stuck and beat the reminder to find new buyers.
Ademaria.eth, for example, got the shirt so wet that he went to buy another one, with his typewriter printed on the belly and a QR code that links to the NFT's Opensea page.
“I was also hesitant to make a coffee mug for motivation while writing.
