Saudi Arabia.. Details of the investigation of 189 defendants from 7 ministries in corruption cases
The Saudi Control and Anti-Corruption Authority "Nazaha" initiated a number of criminal and administrative cases during the month of Ramadan 1443 AH.
The authority indicated that it carried out 3,384 inspection rounds during the month of Ramadan, 189 defendants were investigated and 43 were arrested, including those who were released on bail.
The authority added that the detainees are affiliated with the Ministries of Defense, Interior, National Guard, Health, Justice, Education, Municipal Affairs and Housing, noting that they were involved in crimes of bribery, abuse of power, money laundering and fraud.
